The first of  December is here so you are officially allowed to dig out your Christmas jumper! I absolutely love a Christmassy jumper over the festive season and this year they are cuter than ever. They're such a comfy little style statement and if you've got me on Instagram you would have seen that I've had the H&M 'Dear Santa I want it all' jumper ready and raring to go for weeks now but had stern instructions from Joel that I must wait for December! I'm going to use Lauren Conrad as my inspiration this year because this is the best styling of a Christmas jumper I've ever seen and if that doesn't make you want to run out and buy one or shove the one you've already got on I don't know what will!

I'm loving...Leather Trousers

I live in black skinny jeans and to me leather trousers are just a dressier version of my beloved skinnies that never leave my legs and can add a bit of an edge to the plainest of outfits. I finally went for it and ordered the H&M leather trousers that were on a wishlist a few weeks ago and by the time you read this I'll be in Berlin and my new trousers will hopefully have had their first outing! Personally I much prefer these kind of trousers with heels but that's only because I have extremely short legs and anything that elongates them is a welcome addition to my outfit! Browsing Pinterest it seems that Olivia Palermo is the queen of the leather trousers and can rock them with heels and flats (there was no doubt about that with those never ending legs!) and I think I'm going to take inspiration from her and wear them with slipper style shoes and a casual outfit. I've been saving my trousers to wear for Berlin (does anyone else do this when they're going away?!) but I can seen them getting a lot of wear especially over the festive season because they can really dress up a plain top and still be comfortable, Olivia Palermo I'm coming for your Queen of leather trousers title!!

Midweek Wish List #25

1. I love having a book on the go and I've seen so many good things said about this one that it's made it straight to the top of my Christmas list. Who doesn't need a straight talking beauty companion on hand at all times?!

2. I absolutely love the look of these Makeup Revolution Blush Sticks, I've got my eye on all of the matte shades especially the contour colour. They remind me of the NARS matte multiples but for a fraction of the price which my bank account likes a lot.

3. I have to hold my hands up to this one and admit that it's the limited edition label and bright packaging that's drawn me into wanting this but then add a holy grail status into the mix and I'm sold! I've read that people swear by this little jar and my lips are a bit worse for wear at the minute so I think I need to put it to the test.

4. I confess that I've never tried a Benefit blusher before but now they're all housed under one roof (literally!) in this amazing little Christmas gift set. I gave the Benefit Christmas sets a miss last year but they've definitely pulled it out of the bag this year and I want pretty much everything but this is my number one beauty wish for Santa.

5. I do a lot of Pinterest browsing and I can't get away from slouchy jumpers over leather trousers with flat shoes or a shirt tucked into leather trousers and sky scraper heels. I need leather trousers to recreate both of these looks, need I say more?!

The umbrella - an underrated accessory. This is something that you'll get a lot of use of especially if you're like me and live in the UK - the sun might be shining now but my umbrella has got a lot of use this week! I always like to have a cute umbrella on standby in case the heavens open, who says you can't be pretty and practical?! I begrudgingly have to admit that summer is drawing to a close (boohoo!) and we're going to get a few more dull rainy days but even though your hair might be a straggly damp mess and your feet might be soggy no one will notice because they'll be admiring your brolly if you pick one of these bad boys!

I'm moving out in 2 weeks time and I had to choose between taking all of my clothes with me or taking my boyfriend, it took a lot of deliberation but I decided the clothes won't help me pay the bills or make my dinner so I'm hoping you lovely lot will give these a good home!
