It's been a while since I've done an outfit post and I found this one deep in the Berlin archives so here we go and please excuse the angelic halo around my head! This was our first night in Berlin and we weren't venturing far from the hotel bar so I braved it and bared my legs but since we'd been up since 4am catching planes and trains my eyes wouldn't let me put my contact lenses in so I had to settle with specs for a night! 

I fell in love with this Topshop jumper the second I saw it, it's soft and fluffy and the nicest colour I've ever set my eyes on, an almost neon peach honestly it's gorgeous. I don't usually go for things that are cropped because my tummy is something I like to keep covered up but I had this skirt in mind which after seeing Lily Pebbles wearing it I had to buy and being high waisted there is minimal skin on show! I usually live in jeans in the winter but this leather look skirt goes with everything and you can dress it up or down so the price per wear is already down to mere pounds! I hope I can find some more things to pair this jumper with because it's lovely and I'm thinking with a pencil skirt there's a bit of a Kim K vibe going on even without the waist training and enviable booty!

I do apologize for being so absent in the blogging world the past week, after all the Katy Perry excitement there was another dose of excitement in my life on Tuesday when my teeny tiny baby sister was born so I've been in a little pink bubble of cuddles and tiny fingers and toes but I'm back on the band wagon now!

I wore this outfit last week when me and Joel went out for a meal and this picture was taken well before I went into a pizza coma! I don't know if you're like me but I'm always looking for 'the perfect' something and about a month ago it was the perfect printed trousers and it was only by pure chance that I stumbled across these. Our TV just happened to blow up one morning and we had to go on an emergency trip to Fosse Park to replace it (because god forbid we had to talk to each other with no background noise!) and I can't just walk past somewhere where some serious money can be spent. I love the print and the shape of them, they're really lightweight and comfy but I just wish they were a tiny bit shorter for wearing with flats in the day but that's just because I'm a short arse. I kept the rest of the outfit simple as the trousers speak for them self and paired them with my yellow cami top which I am loving being able to wear without a cardigan or coat on top and I really need to get some more colours of because they go with everything and my pointy Topshop shoes that I have now forgiven for making one of my toes numb for a whole week, how can something so beautiful do so much damage?!

Well this is something we haven't seen in a while - an outfit post! I'm a very last minute rush getting ready type and you can guarantee with five minutes to go I still need to brush my teeth, put my lipstick on and pack my going out bag so the opportunity for an outfit picture rarely arises so I must have been uncharacteristically organised on Saturday night!

I realize that I look like a walking Topshop advert here, I do own clothes from other places I swear! I wore this for an engagement party that me and Joel went to on Saturday night and as I was his plus one and didn't really know anyone I didn't want to go too dressed up because I had no idea what everyone else would be wearing so I went for the trusty combination of my black leigh jeans, shirt and heels. I got some Topshop vouchers for my birthday so I bought this shirt which is so comfy and the fit is lovely even with my boobs in the way! My vouchers also stretched as far as these shoes which I'd had my eye on for ages after hunting for the perfect nude pointy heels and voila here they are except for the fact that I can't feel my toes two days later but I can dismiss the pain for how beautiful they are. To finish me off is the bag of the moment the Zara 'stressed but well dressed' clutch which I have now adopted as my life mantra!

Why is it so hard to pack for a few days?!?! So much stuff for such a little case! These are the outfits that I wore while I was in London last week minus my coming home outfit because we were in too much of a rush as lugging my make up filled case around slowed me down and annoyed Joel (can't beat a bit of holiday tension!) 

On the day we went I was going for comfort so wore my trusty Topshop Leigh jeans, a floral cami style top and a light jacket which I'm glad I took because it was nice when we left the house but when we got into London it was chucking it down, hence the umbrella! I hadn't actually planned on getting changed that night but after a little trip to Primark and a new top to debut I ended up changing into that and putting my heart shoes on (the last time for a good few days I could even wear heels - Oxford Street you ruined me!!) before we went for an Italian, yum! The following day we hit the shops and I wore my yellow Zara dress (I also wore it in this outfit post here) I've only ever worn this once before and wanted to get the price per wear down. We went out again that night and I had a completely different outfit in mind but I literally did shop until I dropped so just kept it casual with my beloved black jeans and a red polka dot peplum top that I borrowed from my mum in an 'I have nothing to wear panic' the night before we went, I had to wear my Topshop pumps because all that shopping had blistered me up and it was easier to limp down the road in flats! If I look a bit weird in these pictures it's because my fringe has grown ridiculously long and I'm trying to rock more of a centre parting but I'm not quite sure of it yet, I just think I look strange. I'm going to give it a couple of weeks and see if it grows on me before I beg my friend (who persuaded me to let her put the scissors down and try it) to give me the chop. And that concludes my london outfits, back into my onesie now!

I am currently on the sofa wrapped in a blanket wallowing in self pity at my alcohol induced state, boohoo! Last night I went out with a few of my lovely work friends for a meal and a few drinks that definitely exceeded the 'few' drinks category. I'm making myself feel better by doing a little online retail therapy and watching back to back Friends!

I absolutely love these Topshop cami tops, they're so versatile and the colour range is amazing. This is actually my sisters that I borrowed after raiding her wardrobe - I'm suprised I even got into it because she is teeny tiny! I just wanted to keep the outfit simple and comfortable so I bought this black jersey pencil skirt from Missguided but it is super long, I'm 5"2 and it took quite a lot of rolling up to get it to knee length but that ended up bulking out the waist a bit. I finished it off with my good old Zara shoes that weren't on for too long because all the dancing got the better of my poor old feet. I had Models Own Hedonist on my nails and MAC Morange on my lips which I always think looks quite matchy, matchy but I love the way that bright reddy corals look against yellow.

I am definitely not long out of bed tonight, hurry up X Factor so I can finally add to my three hours sleep, I'm never going out on a school night again (until next time there's a night out on a Friday and I'm rota'd in for the Saturday and I've forgotten how bad work was this morning!) Between a near tan disaster, a lot of shots, ending up in a VIP area with some of the cast of TOWIE drinking Grey Goose, thinking it would be a good idea to sit outside at 5am with a pizza (it wasn't it was freezing) and the longest wait for McDonalds to stop selling breakfast ever, what a night!! 

I'd been looking for a pink skater skirt for what seems like ages and I thought they would be easier to come across, I finally found this one in Topshop and the picture doesn't do the colour of this skirt justice, it is BRIGHT. I would definitely describe it as a neon pink, no one would be able to loose you in this! I'd seen this crop top in quite a few Primark hauls but the polka dot version, I would say that around 40% of my wardrobe is made up of stripes, they entice me and my debit card it seems! I  got this top in a size 12 to accommodate my boobs because the material has no give in it at all but I do wish that I'd gone for a 10 as the top is really quite baggy and even with my generous chest area it's still quite long for a crop top. I finished the outfit off with my blue wedges simply because they are the comfiest heels that I own and I was planning on dancing the night away and Ciate Big Yellow Taxi on my nails.

Just a little lifestyle update for you, I'm writing this on Sunday while I have a spare half an hour and it will post tomorrow (Monday 17th) it seems like a very long time coming but tomorrow is the day that we'll finally be moving in to our little house! Sky are coming on Tuesday to install the internet and phone line so hopefully I should be back online by then but I still have a garage of flat pack to build and a few more trips to Ikea to make so I'll be very quiet over the next week, but please bare with me because as soon as the place looks liveable I will be back to my blogging self, I will try my best to make it worth your wait! I hope that you've all had a lovely weekend and next time that I post I will officially be a grown up in my own house, eek!

You're not experiencing de ja vu, I have already featured this top in an outfit post less than a week ago but what can I say, I love it! So last Saturday night me and that boy of mine had a night of fine dining and drinks (we were actually redeeming a Groupon) and I wanted to keep it quite understated. I bought this top from Primark a few weeks a go and before I'd even got it to the till had it mentally paired with my ever faithful black Leigh jeans and some heels. The top is quite a thick material and a really boxy fit with sparkly detail all around the collar which is so pretty. I love the colour which is a pinky, peachy, coral and finding a lipstick to wear that wasn't almost an exact match was really hard, peachy coral lip shades are my weakness! I've had this pair of Leighs for longer than I remember and they've kept their shape beautifully, no baggy knees or bums, they've faded a bit but they're still black not a shade of grey and they are so comfortable!! I had a few cocktails, Nachos with sour cream and melted cheese and the biggest bowl of carbonara I have ever seen and not once did it occur to me to undo a button, they're just so soft and don't dig in at all even after you've eaten the whole of Italy's pasta supply. I don't wear these shoes enough, they are literally perfection. The back of them are covered in studs but I didn't get time to get a picture because Joel was already getting restless but I have done a post dedicated to them here if you want to have a little look at their beauty from all angles! 

I hope that you're planning to spend this long weekend relaxing or hungover, I can't do either as I really need to make a start of packing my room up for the big move which is only three weeks on Monday. It's been so long coming I think I've underestimated how quick it's going to come round and still have a lots (everything) to do, eeek!

You can call off the search party, I'm back!! I was back to work as of today so my birthday celebrations are officially over boohoo! I've had a lovely long weekend and I've got a little birthday haul post planned for later on in the week.

I went out to celebrate being one year older with a few of my friends and the only dress that was fit for the occasion was the Topshop dress from a couple of wish lists ago (this one here) and in true Jade Hardy style I'd had it for a good week or so before I actually tried it on (the day before I was going out) and found that it was completely see through and my boobs were making a bid for freedom. More bras than La senza later and my wonderful best friend saving the day with a nude slip to save my modesty and the dress was salvaged! I bloody love the cute little pearly cat ears that are everywhere at the minute and when better to wear a pair than on your birthday?! I'll probably never wear them again other than to scrape my hair off my face at home so I couldn't justify a Topshop pair but Ebay didn't fail me. A last minute addition was the studded Primark clutch, I thought I needed something to tone down the girly pinkness and there are my trusy Zara shoes again, I bet you're sick of seeing them! I've never been compared to a stick of rock so much before on a night out!!

I'm currently writing this from my bed, in my onesie, with a headache, feeling slightly sick but at the same time craving the kind of food that will take me up a dress size by just looking at it. What a typical bank holiday feeling! This is a very poor excuse of an outfit picture, me in Varsity toilets (classy lady) but I'm going to roll with it! This night out crept up on me and I had to mentally throw together a few things before actually throwing them in the car and hoping they were clean and looked alright. I've had this skirt for ages now and I've only ever worn it once in Ibiza in the summer so I thought it was due an outing and because the skirt is so bright I tried to keep the rest of the colours quite neutral. I'm a bit slack on the old top front and it was a struggle to find something to wear with this but I think it ended up looking okay, the only thing that gets me down about baggy fitting tops and big boobs is that it makes your top half look a lot bigger than it is but hopefully the pinched in waist remedied that a bit, god damn you boobs!! I was going for understated nails as well but then I rediscovered the Ciate Caviar Beads that I got in my Ciate advent calendar and put it on a couple of nails to make them look less plain and add a subtle bit of colour, surprisingly these lasted the whole night compared to the other few times I've had them on and most of the beads have scraped off just leaving silver within a couple of hours (That is probably down to me though and the fact I just can't stop touching them). My going out make up doesn't really vary very much and it's pretty similar to my day make up just a bit heavier. I'd had a few glasses of wine by this point so the pout was out! Lashings of black eyeliner winged out, big lashes and a nice lip colour are my staples, I probably should be a bit more adventurous with my make up but if it ain't broke don't fix it!

Valentines Day seems like a distant memory now but better late than never! This is what I wore when me and Joel went for a valentines meal at Piccolino in Nottingham. Once again, I apologise for Joel's terrible photography, he does not get on with my camera at all and by the look on my face he was telling me all about it! I'd been lusting after this dress ever since it appeared on the Topshop website (Here it is on my very first wishlist) but kept putting off ordering it and I'm glad I did because this baby only set me back £20 when it hit the sale!! It's a really flattering cut and I love the heart print! I actually wore this out to a work meal the other night with tights and my studded boots and it looks as good dressed down as it does dressed up. I paired it with my trusty Nude heels and minimal accessories to let the dress do the talking! Here's a couple more pictures from our weekend if you want to have a look...

Please excuse the quality of this picture, I think if I made Joel take another one our relationship would have been over and also ignore the upturned make up bag, I'm like a mini tornado when I'm getting ready to go out! 

I wore this too a work party a few Saturdays ago and I thought it would be best if I stowed the twins away and lowered my hem for a refined look on an evening I was meant to be on my best behaviour (That didn't last long, believe me). You know you've got a bargain when your dress almost costs the same as your lashes, £10, yes you read that right, £10!! It's a very see through material but I wasn't too concerned anyone was going to see anything as I had the biggest control pants on the world has ever seen!! I've also got my trusty ASOS clutch to add some colour and I'm still loving that zip pocket, my ID and lipstick have never been so snug! I spent the majority of last year looking for the perfect nude shoes. I did have a beloved pair but got the heel stuck in a drain one night out and the only way to free it was to snap the heel off so that was the end of those and I never got round to filling that nude shoe shaped hole in my life. And then these appeared under the Christmas tree!! They are gorgeous, I wish I had pictured them better, they're the perfect colour, the perfect height, they're just perfect. I don't know if you can see but the platform at the front is gold which is a nice detail and makes them a little bit different, I'll be side stepping all drains in these babies!

I'm just having a quick browse of the blogosphere while my lover is getting his mop chopped and then we're off for a night in Nottingham and shopping tomorrow for Valentines take 2! Have a lovely weekend!!

I was super excited to wear this outfit for my night out last night and like an idiot didn't think of trying it on until 20 minutes before I was getting picked up and it was then I decided that the skirt didn't sit right. A couple of stitches in the waistband and a lot of moaning later I had to embrace the skirt and gogogo! I picked up this sequin wonder in the Topshop sale just before Christmas after searching for the perfect sequin skirt for what seemed like all my life, I paid £20 for it down from £45, it would have been rude not too!! I ordered this shirt last week along with a Lipstick (Review here) and a cute midi ring, which seems to have disappeared off the website but was the J version of this, it's such a lovely fit and I can't wait to style it up a few other ways. Last but not least my ASOS clutch is also a new purchase, I love the colour, it fits a lot in (even flats for when your feet can take no more) and it has a phone pouch and a zip pocket that I LOVE, I seem very easy to please but I've not got another clutch bag with this and I hate my money and cards in my bag willy nilly and hard to find but now everything has its place!

I've had to tear myself away from reading Confessions of a Fashionista to post this, it's such a good book and so so funny, I would definitely recommend a read! I hope your Sunday has been as lazy and make up free as mine!
